Now, Saturday morning presented me with rather a large quandary – to go to the fantastic, and rather crazy, Sue Ryder Sale in Nettlebed, for a frantic fabric and bits and bobs and general lovely things hunt, or to go to Gloucester Road Playgroup’s coffee morning.
I desperately wanted to do both so lovely husband went to coffee morning with sons number 2 and 3 and I went to netters with son 1...
Oooh what a good decision…Tobias (son 2) got to play with best, little girlfriend M, Felix (son 3) got to be cute with future partner in crime L, and I got to immerse myself in STUFF.
...and Nettlebed, oh, so fruitful this time
...some fabulous fabrics, soon to be made into children's clothes (watch that etsy page!!)
...some cute vintage zips, maybe some little zipped pouches? Jasper (son 1!) has requested a purse to take his cake money to school in...and yellow is his favorite colour, perfect!
...summer dresses?
...more summer dresses, shifts, or little drawstring trousers?
Well, actually it is at present draped over my dining room window curtain pole, and I am torn between whether to dressmake and etsy it or save it for my window.
Also lucky me, Martin brought me lovely plant from the coffee morning, that now sits on my kitchen windowsill for me to look at when I am “mindfully” washing up”…
